The ‘Will & Grace’ revival is such a hit, NBC is renewing it for a third season

Will & Grace is on for Season 3. Or Season 11. It depends how you’re counting.

NBC has announced that the reunion series starring Debra Messing (Grace), Eric McCormack (Will), Sean Hayes (Jack) and Megan Mullally (Karen) will return for an 18-episode third season. Additionally, the network has upped its order for Season 2 from 13 to 18 episodes.

Will & Grace’s original eight-season run wrapped in 2006. The show was revived in 2016 with a “get out the vote” mini-episode timed to the election.

“As far as I’m concerned, we can’t get enough of Will & Grace and 23 more episodes is music to my ears,” NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt said Saturday in a statement. “We’re eternally grateful that Debra, Eric, Sean and Megan feel the same way and wanted to keep this good thing going. I’m overwhelmed by the euphoric response the new show has received.”.
